The Goodyear Welt is the oldest, traditional and traditional shoe manufacturing method, whose origins go back more than 200 years of history, it is widely recognized as being the most elaborate and durable; Footwear experts say it is the perfect construction method.

The Goodyear Welt sewing can be done by hand or by the well-known machine invented by Charles Goodyear in 1872.

The artisanal system requires a long time to do it, as well as outstanding skills of the craftsman, only the best manufacturers use this technique.

Goodyear Welt is still considered the "work of art" in the manufacture of footwear due to its many advantages, comfort, preservation of the original shape, flexibility, insulation and easy repair, maximum comfort.

This system basically consists of a double inner-outer stitching that joins the skin with the sole and gives the shoe unparalleled strength and durability. The internal sewing process holds the upper skin to the insole and the frame, while the outer stitching or stitching fixes the frame to the sole.
